Meet Debra
Upon earning a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, Debra Pinciotti worked for several years as an illustrator and portrait artist. After her children were born, Debra put aside her drawing desk for a few years to care for them full time. Once the children were off to school, Debra studied metalsmithing and jewelry making and began designing, making and wholesaling jewelry to stores and galleries.
Several years later with a few portrait commissions, Debra turned her attention again to fine art. She was commissioned to do portraits of pets as well as people. Not long after immersing herself in the art world again, Debra discovered contemporary botanical art. Debra’s love of flowers and plants and her work drawing and painting them pairs perfectly with her husband’s love of gardening and growing unusual and exotic plants. Most of the specimens she paints come from their garden at their home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
